At OCD we "rescue" home goods.  Antique and vintage items are the bulk of what we carry and when they cannot be gently cleaned or restored we try hard to recycle them back into usable pieces.  Often, either through negligence or abuse, a once usable item cannot have its repairs hidden, that is when the "rescuing" occurs.  So long as it has good bones, and a shape or form pleasing to the eye, every attempt is made to bring it back into service and keep it out of the landfill.

Most of those items are sourced through charity stores such as Goodwill, Habitat, Salvation Army, SPCA and the like. Other charitable organizations also have sales like Churches, and the Lions Club as just two example of the many local groups we support. There are also individuals, estates and yard/garage sales; wherever the search takes us.  If there is a special request please let us know and we will be happy to attempt to help you find it

With each and every piece we offer it is our intent to meld it's style to a color and/or pattern which is trendy and current.  If you have a n item that you would like to have repaired, refurbished, or "rescued" let us know.  We offer these services to furniture, lighting and upholstery.  Let us know how we can help, we look forward to serving you.

Do you provide International delivery?

 

Depending upon the size and weight of an item international delivery may not be feasible.  However we can, upon request, provide a quote for international orders.

 

 

How do I return an item?

 

Due to the custom nature of our work it is not our policy to accept returns.  All sales are final.  Please be absolutely sure of your purchase and inspect it carefully.  We make every effort to accurately represent an item; if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.

 

 

What is your returns policy?

How do I track my order?

 

For the piece of mind to all parties each order which is not picked up locally is insured and tracking info provided.  

 

 

How can I contact your couriers?

 

When your item ships you  will be provided with the tracking information and a point of contact for that provider.

 

 

What are your delivery options?

Pick up at the store or one of our local partners is the best option. Dependent upon size and weight the appropriate carrier is chosen. A quote will be provided prior to the final transaction and you have the option to use your own service of choice.  Our carriers pack and ship.  We are not responsible for the item once it leaves the store.  Any damage is the carriers responsibility and you must file the appropriate claim procedure.

Can I ship an item in for repair?

 

Yes, however it may be easier to drop it off with one of our local partners nearer to you. When shipping an item for repair please contact us first and when it ships please provide us with the tracking info. We will call you when it arrives with the final estimate.
